'Blessed By The Rain’ ….Two sculptural figures conversing in a landscape, which recalls a conversation that I had when I arrived at a vast horse ranch in a very remote, dusty part of Argentine Patagonia up in the foothills of the Andes, where we had to ride in for a few hours to get to the ranch house once the road ended. It was a beautiful clear blue sky with not a cloud in sight. We were met by the ranch owner's daughter, who, while talking to her, told her that "it was going to rain soon", to which she replied, "it won't rain as it hasn't rained for months here'. It rained shortly afterwards that afternoon.
The land was 'Blessed by the Rain' and it calmed down all the dry dust.
